There are simple things you can do to keep your family safe while spending the day cooling off in the pool. When you’re at the pool, make sure your children know how to swim and keep a close eye on them all the time. Keep children away from broken or malfunctioning pipes and drains. If you have your own pool, make sure to check that the automatic covers work and that gates leading to the pool are are self-closing.
Summer isn’t summer without a good ol’ barbeque and parties in the backyard. Anything with fire can easily spell disaster. To ensure family summer safety, be sure you do your grilling outdoors in a well ventilated area. When your preparing for those outdoor summer parties, be sure to keep young children inside when mowing and to put all potentially dangerous tools and equipment away and out of the reach of children.
